DESCRIPTION:
A spectacle is mounted horizontally onto the test unit, with outer lens facing down. One lens is clamped in position, whilst a vertical force is applied to the other lens. After the force is removed, the amount of permanent deformation of the tested side from the horizontal is measured and compliance assessment is performed

DESCRIPTION:
A rod heated ted to nominal 650℃, is made to come into contact with the material under test for 5 seconds. Upon removal the material is visually inspected to check if the material ignites or continues to glow.
The rod is pneumatically lowered and retracted.

EN168-2002 CLAUSE 7. , ANSI Z87.1 2010 CLAUSE 9.7
DESCRIPTION:
A steel ball heated to (900 ±20) °C is placed on test lens. Time for the ball to penetrate the lens is measured, and should not exceed 10 seconds.
APPLICABLE STANDARD:
To perform assessment on eye protection as per EN168-2002 CLAUSE 11
